Founded in 2001, the Réseau Jeunes Bénévoles an action (JBA network) encourages teens from 10 to 17 to become involved as volunteers in their school environment and in their community, by guiding them in their volunteer work. It is also committed to create and provide opportunities for teens who wish to import their skills onto their community, to get involved.
The Réseaux JBA (JBA Network) and Bénéjeunes are found in:
- 19 high schools
- 79 elementary schools
- 50 community organizations
- Collège Montmorency
- The Réseau JBA is proud to have 641 new volunteers among its members
- 312 teens have been referred to organizations
- 85 teens have been referred to special events such as the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Days, the Christmas basket campaign, etc.
- The Réseau JBA has over 1 800 active teen volunteer members

The Réseau JBA is one of the eight projects from the Agreement on teenagers' involvement in the city; these projects - which include seven cooperating parties - are aimed at increasing teens' participation in their region, by giving them chances to get involved in stimulating projects that acquaint them to intergenerational solidarity.
