Centre de bénévolat et Moisson Laval (CBML) has a 12,000-square-foot warehouse where a team of volunteers and employees receive and sort products that are then offered them to various services and organizations. The Centre’s equipment allows for high-capacity recovery and redistribution.
Donations from businesses, wholesalers, and suppliers as well as donations collected as part of various campaigns allow us to redistribute foodstuffs to accredited organizations, people living with food insecurity, and schools in the area to meet their needs.
The Food Aid Service’s mandate is to ensure clients’ food security in emergency situations. The Service also provides support toward self-sufficiency while directing clients to other resources that provide more sustained and regular support, as needed.
