Since 1998, Centre de bénévolat et moisson Laval (CBML) has been offering a breakfast-and-snacks program in Laval schools that are particularly disadvantaged. This year, 399,663 snacks were distributed in the 37 schools registered in the program.

In Laval, children eat their fill! Unfortunately, this assertion does not reflect reality. In September 1998, the CBML’s breakfast-and-snacks program was launched in Laval elementary schools. Today, its main objective in the 37 schools it serves is the same, namely, to ensure the best chance of success for more than 4,037 young people.

Since 2019, this program has expanded to provide two meals a week to youths from families in need. The meals include a sandwich or wrap and fresh vegetables. Everything is prepared on site in the CBML multipurpose kitchen with the help of our valued volunteers.

In 2022-2023, 3,507 youths benefited from these meals.
